The basic premise is to encourage reading among school age children.  Children can either read a book on their own or have one read to them.  After the book is finished, come to the library and talk with a librarian about the book.  For each book read, children will recieve a stamp.  Collect 5 stamps and recieve a &lt;strong&gt;FREE &lt;/strong&gt;all day pass to Rye Airfield. Each child must be accompanied by an adult.&lt;/span&gt; &lt;span style="color:#ff0000;"&gt;Sign up is required.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;strong&gt;One Lap, One Child.&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Each weekly program will last approximately one-half hour. The children enjoy finger plays, songs, and of course, books. Sign up is limited in each session to provide an enjoyable experience for all participants.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000099;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Story Time&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/span&gt; &lt;span style="color:#006600;"&gt;is available to children beginning at 3 years old. A collection of 24 pencil sketches of trees were matted for display by Art instructor Deb Wheeler Bean.  The show will hang throughout the months of January and February.
